Finnish Eurovision star Krista Siegfrids is expecting a baby with her partner Rutger. Siegfrids announced the happy news on her Instagram account:
Siegfrids’ fans have welcomed the announcement with joy, and many of them have congratulated the upcoming parents on Instagram. Also some Eurovision stars, including Poli Genova and Emmelie de Forest have shared their congratulations under Siegfrids’ Instagram photos.
Siegfrids introduced her partner Rutger for the first time in public in January on her Instagram account, where she shared a photo of them and told her followers to “say hi to Mr. Amsterdam”. The couple met for the first time through their mutual friends in Amsterdam. Nowadays Siegfrids lives mainly in Amsterdam with Rutger.
Krista Siegfrids first came to the knowledge of the Eurovision fans in 2013, when she represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with her song Marry Me.
After that she has done a lot in the field of Eurovision, for example taken part in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen in 2016 and 2017 and of course hosted the Finnish national selection for Eurovision, Uuden musiikin kilpailu (UMK) for many years.
