They’re poets and they know it!
Fresh from this years’ contest in Liverpool it’s Teya and Salena from Austria!
The pair had already had a taste of Eurovision having both attempted to represent Austria in the contest in previous years, Salena in 2019 and Teya in 2020. That love of Eurovision later brought them together in 2021 whilst both competing on Starmania 21 - an Austrian talent show, and we're so glad!
They wrote their upbeat entry ‘Who the Hell is Edgar?’ together in just an hour! More than just a catchy tune, the lyrics touch on the difficulties of songwriting in society today; for female songwriters to get recognition and be heard, and also the low royalty rates that writers receive for song streams!
The crowds in Liverpool absolutely loved their performance and we can’t wait to Relive the moment with them on the EuroStarz stage!
