Marc Roberts
IRELAND 1997
Still full of mystery - it's Marc Roberts!

Marc Roberts came to Eurovision in 1997, when he represented Ireland at the contest, coming in second and just losing out to Katrina and the Waves that year. Shortly afterwards, Marc released his debut album to great success, and has produced six studio albums.
In 2008, he made a second attempt at Eurovision with the self-penned “Chances”, but unfortunately, was beaten by Dustin the Turkey.
Not only is Marc a fabulous singer, but a talented songwriter too, and has collaborated with fellow Eurovision entrants, Charlie McGettigan, who won the Contest for Ireland in 1994 with Paul Harrington, and Brian Kennedy from Eurovision 2006.
Marc is frequently invited to appear at “Trad on the Prom”, an annual event showcasing Irish music and culture. For many years, Marc has presented a radio show on Saturday and Sunday called “The Feel Good Factor”.
… but someone else will be looking after his weekend radio slot, as we are delighted to welcome Marc to EuroStarz!
