We have a choice, and it's Ari!
Originally from Reykjavík, Iceland, Ari started singing at a very early age and his angelic voice and stage charm soon landed him lead roles in musicals at the National Theatre of Iceland. Amongst other musicals, he played a part in Oliver, a musical directed by Selma Björnsdóttir who came second in the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest with the song All Out Of Luck.
Ari competed in The Voice of Iceland in 2015 and was a backing vocalist in the national selection Söngvakeppnin. Ari represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Our Choice"; being a big fan of Eurovision himself, he dreamt of representing Iceland in the competition from an early age.
More recently he has gone on to graduate from the Royal Academy of Music with a degree in opera.
Ari has also performed as a soloist in various TV series, films, and commercials. We look forward to welcoming him to the EuroStarz stage!
