A couple of weeks ago we were thrilled to see the return of the annual EuroStarz event in London, which ESCBubble is proud to be the media partner for. We continue our interviews with the acts who performed on the night, and next up is the UK’s Michael Rice.
Michael first appeared on our TV screens when he auditioned for BBC talent show ‘All Together Now’. Michael managed to impress the 100 panellists so much that he ended up winning the whole competition. He has since also gone on to appear on the Russian version of the show, again impressing panellists including two-time Eurovision performer Sergey Lazarev.
In 2019 he represented the UK at Eurovision in Tel Aviv with “Bigger Than Us”, the John Lundvik penned anthem which sadly did go on to place 26th in the final.
Joe had a chat with Michael just before he performed and they caught up on memories of 2019, Michael’s adventures in Russia recently and his new music and other ventures.
